It has come to our attention that there is a Market Research Company called Healthcare Fieldwork, who may contact you to ask you to take part in some research. In addition to the payment to the nurse, that they would give £10 towards ASCN UK for each nurse who takes part.
ASCN UK would like to ensure that you were aware that they have not sought or gained our approval to do this. ASCN UK have not endorsed this research nor given approval for them to contact you.
It is entirely up to you in your professional capacity if you wish to take part, however, any nurse who takes part should ensure that this is not done in their NHS or company work time unless expressly permitted by their manager, especially as the research company are paying the nurse. Also know that the research is not endorsed by ASCN UK.
ASCN UK are going to request that the member companies of the BHTA are aware that any future research with Healthcare Fieldwork, involving our charity name must be approved by ourselves first.
