It is with regret that we must announce the postponement of the British Journal of Nursing Awards ceremony, which was scheduled to take place this Friday 20th March.
As organisers, our number one priority is to ensure that we act in the best interests of everybody’s health, safety and wellbeing. This decision has not been taken lightly, but due to the ever-changing situation with the COVID19 pandemic, not only has it severely affected the viability to attend for the vast majority of our finalists, judges, sponsors, etc., but it is also a necessity in the efforts to help prevent further spread of the virus and to ensure that we are considerate of the time of our healthcare workforce.
We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause to those of you who were still hoping to attend and would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for their understanding in this matter.
In the coming weeks, we will be updating you further with our rescheduled plans going forward.
