There has been a verbal recommendation by NHSE/I, and BHTA endorses this recommendation, that all non-essential patient reviews are suspended at this time. This is to ensure that any transmission risks are mitigated to the patient, to your community nurses and other staff that they may come into contact with following a patient visit. All organisations should consider the health and safety responsibilities they have to their staff and to avoid, by all actions possible, COVID-19 related incidents.
