UEA Advanced Stoma Care Module (Level 7)

As part of IA’s commitment to the development of the specialist stoma care nursing role, IA is delighted to be funding 6 bursaries This module aims to advance stoma care knowledge across the four pillars of advanced practice (Clinical, Research, Education & Management/Leadership) and to develop and apply the foundation principles of advanced practice within their role.
How will I learn? The course consists of 12 two-weekly ‘blocks’ of online learning over seven months. The course commences in January 2021.
Who can apply? Funding applications are invited from stoma care nurse specialists currently in post, based in the UK. Course applications must be provisionally accepted by the university before IA will consider any funding application. Successful funding applications are at IA’s discretion.
