Following discussions with NHSE and NHSI and the DHSC, as of 1st September 2020, the Advanced and Enhanced Service Directions 2013 regulations has been amended to reflect two changes for Appliance Use Reviews (AURs):
- Permitting documented verbal consent for AURs and;
- Permitting telephone/video consultation for AURs.
These changes are set out in amendments to the Pharmaceutical Services (Advanced and Enhanced Services) (England) Directions 2013 which can be viewed on the NHS Business Services Authority website
