Colostomy UK Telephone Befriending Service

Colostomy UK are delighted to have launched our new Telephone Befriending Service thanks to funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund.

This new service aims to support ostomates who may be experiencing loneliness or social isolation, by providing them with regular telephone contact with one of our specially trained volunteers (all of whom are ostomates themselves).

Nurses may make referrals using the downloadable form on our website, or ostomates can refer themselves.
