ASCN UK Stoma Care Nursing Standards and Audit Tool available in the members area

It is with great delight that the ASCN UK announce that the Stoma Care Nursing Standards and Audit Tool for the Newborn to the Elderly have been reviewed, and updated.  I would like to thank all of the committee, Wendy Osborne and the endorsing associations for their hard work and diligence in ensuring we have up to date information.  Thanks go to Gabrielle Thorpe for her foreword to the current version of the Standards.  These are now accessible from the ASCN UK website.  There is a printable version available. In addition, and new for this year, the Audit section is available with live fields, so you can choose which is most useful for your practice.  I would also like to thank Colin Kyte who works for the Advertising and Design agency for working with ASCN UK and assisting us in getting the Standards ready.  We look forward to your comments.  The next review will be due 2024.
